Wireless: To Be, Or Not To Be? That Is The Question Facing Schools Across The Country.

as for our topics which concerns about putting up wi-fi connections in every room i read some articles aboout a school in paris which is “the american school of paris” where in they developed all their rooms by widing the range of wi-fi connections..

for proof i took this article:

“The American School of Paris (ASP) needed a robust notebook solution for
teachers to access a new WiFi-enabled campus. Furthermore, the school
wanted a technology provider that could deliver a reliable IT infrastructure
and services that ensure a successful deployment and maximise its investment.”

this was the reason why they have develop their connections:

“The school wanted to equip teachers with WiFi-enabled notebooks to improve workplace flexibility. With a portable solution supporting wireless connections, accessing the school network from anywhere across campus would be easier. “The size of the campus made the idea of a wire network unrealistic,” says Michel Lami, ICT Manager at ASP.”

“But wireless technology was perfect for our needs, allowing easy connection-free access to the network or internet whatever the location.”

A conventional billboard for displaying a visual message is combined with a communication system for enabling a message related to the message displayed by the billboard to be transmitted from the billboard to passengers of automotive vehicles driving by said billboard.

The communication system includes a transmitter located at the billboard and connected to an external telephone line. A telephone unit, disposed at a remote business office, supplies the related message over the telephone line to the transmitter. Receivers, located in individual automotive vehicles, receive the transmitted message. The transmitter includes a recorder for recording the related message received from the telephone unit and a control unit for controlling recording and playback of that message.

WHY DID I SUGGEST ELECTRONIC BULLETIN BOARDS FOR EVERY CLASSROOM?

I personally suggest it because i observe lacking in informing the students on what is happening in the campus. specifically important announcements regarding campus events and happenings.

if there is an electronic bulletin board in every room PROFESSORS and STUDENTS won’t have a hard time checking their examination schedules and other related issues regarding their course. they won’t have a hard time going to their respective institutes, instead they will just be informed by the announcements and postings in the electronic bulletin board.

The students and the professors will be the beneficiaries for this project, and with that i know that it will help in the development process of each students.

HOW DID WE COME UP WITH THE IMPROVEMENT OF WI-FI- CONNECTION?

the bookworm of our group Jecksther Dela Cruz suggested that we should improve and develop Wi-fi connection in the campus. Wi-fi connection are needed by the students and professors in doing their research works and development of visual and report presentation in the classroom, but the problem is tehre are only areas in the campus where in you can access wi-fi- connections areas such as ARts building, nursing building and NRH building. how about the other buildings? how can the other students have the privilege in access in the wi-fi- connection? so our team decided to adopt jecks idea.
